Kyokushinkaikan Karate

Sportsmen from Zaporizhya branch of the Federation have showed good results in two competitions: Ukrainian WAKO kick-boxing championship in Zaporizhya on April 1^st, 2017, and Open Zaporizhya region tournament of military and sports all-round events in town Pology (Zaporizhya region) on April 2^nd, 2017. Both tournaments hosted more than 200 participants from different regions of Ukraine.

Artem Durmadzhi (trainer A.Zhornyak) has won silver on Ukrainian WAKO kick-boxing championship.

Results of the Open Zaporizhya region tournament of military and sports all-round events are as follows.

1. Gold medal in 2 disciplines competition (shooting, hand-to-hand fighting): Artem Syrotin (trainer A.Zinchenko)
2. Silver medals in 2 disciplines competition (shooting, hand-to-hand fighting):

– Nikita Levchenko, Evhen Tarasov, Oleksandra Bazdireva (trainer A.Zhornyak);

– Mykola Nikiforov, Volodymyr Shcherban (trainer A.Zinchenko).

3. Bronze medals in 2 disciplines competition (shooting, hand-to-hand fighting):

– Oleksandr Karpov (trainer A.Zhornyak);

– VilenMurodari  (trainer A.Zinchenko).

4. Bronze medals in “hand-to-hand fighting” section:

– Glib Kovalenko, Volodymyr Binchev, Oleksandr Lukyanchenko (trainer A.Zhornyak).

Sportsmen of the Melitopol team trained under the guidance of Andriy Zhornyak and Anatoliy Zinchenko. Champions and prize-winners were awarded cups, medals and diplomas of the corresponding level.
