6thEuropean Open Kyokushin kArate Championship in kumite was held on November 14th2009 in town Kasarano, Italy. 87 sportsmen from 18 countries took part in this competition. Unfortunately, sportsmen from Ukrainian Federation could not participate in this competition.
Ukraine was represented by fighters from Ukrainian Kyokushinkaikan Association. Doronin Sergiy won 3rd place in the weight category below 80 kg in men’s competition and Dudina Marina won 3rdplace in the weight category above 58 kg in women’s competition.
