Open Zaporizhya kyokushinkaikan karate championship in kumite among children, youth and adults was held on May 29th, 2021. The competition was held at the 1st Melitopol municipal youth sports school (Zaporizhya region).
About 200 sportsmen participated in the competition, representing cities: Dnipro, Zaporizhya, Energodar, Novomoskovsk, Vilnogirsk, Kamyanske and Melitopol.
Overall guidance of the event’s organization and performance was managed by Physical culture and sports department of Zaporizhya state administration. Practical matters were managed by Physical culture and sports department of Melitopol town Council together with the “Melitopol kyokushinkaikan karate federation” organization.
Winners in each age and weight category were awarded: cups, medals and diplomas for those who had won the 1st place, and medals and diplomas for the 2-3 places.
