The 10th Matsushima Cup was held in Minsk (Belarus) on March 3rd, 2018. Sportsmen from Belarus, Russia, Estonia and Ukraine participated in the competition. Our Federation was represented by a team of four sportsmen from Lutsk and Kovel. The team was headed by sempai Vasyl Gorishniy. Our sportsmen won several prizes:
Kandyba David – 1st place
Stolyarchuk Mykola – 3rd place
Stolyarchuk Taras – 2nd place
All the participants have shown good performance. The youngest sportsman Kandyba David deserves a special mention, as he has finished all his fights ahead of time.
We are grateful to Branch Chief Eduard Zhak and the organizer of the competition Viktor Neroda for their invitation and conducting the tournament.
