Town Brovary (Kyiv region) hosted a great sport event on December 10th, 2017 – Ukrainian kyokushinkaikan karate cup among children and juniors. 314 sportsmen from 23 teams of different Ukrainian clubs and towns took part in the competition. Many people and organizations were involved in the organization of the event. Trainers from the separate branch of our Federation in Kyiv region (headed by Sensei Andriy Gavrylyuk) bore the direct responsibility for the competition’s organization.
At the opening ceremony Shihan Dmytro Volynets presented 1st dan certificates and belts to sportsmen who have successfully passed dan tests this summer: Vladyslav Rubalskiy, Oleksiy Lyskov and Volodymyr Tataurov.
Intensive struggle atmosphere was felt during all the competition. All the sportsmen fought hard without a thought of retreat till the very last seconds of their fights.
Overall results are:
1st place – SC “Budokan” from Brovary,
2nd place – SC “Sanchin” from town Irpin,
3rd place – sportsmen from town Mykolayiv.
