Open Dniproptrovsk region Kyokushinkai karate (WKO) championship was held on April 23rd, 2017. Ukrainian Kyokushinkaikan Karate Federation was represented by team of its Dnipropetrovsk regional clubs. The team consisted of 14 sportsmen from SC “Kaskad” (sensei Golovin Dmytro) and Goncharenko Fight Club (Goncharenko Yaroslav). Our fighters competed in “kumite” in weight categories among men and women, juniors, youth, children and veteran groups.
Our boys have showed quite good results. Dolinniy Dmytro and Golovin Nazar became champions, Kolyada Ivan won silver medal and 5 fighters won bronze medals: Asatryan Yegish, Markush Igor, Lipkin Platon, Bychenkov Konstantin and Berdnik Oleksandr.
