August 6, 2016
Summer camp of Hungarian OKKH (Oyama kiokushin karate Hungary, Shihan Jozef Borza) was held in town Miskolc on August 1st-6th, 2016. More than 100 fighters took part in the camp. Ukrainian Kyokushinkaikan karate federation (Shihan Dmytro Volynets) participated in the camp, too. Our combined team consisted of fighters from Lutsk, Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk.
There were 3 trainings for sportsmen everyday. The first one covered general physical training of all fighters. On the second training sportsmen were divided in two groups. Most of them mastered their kata techniques. The second group comprised kumite team, focused on fight tactics. The third training was traditionally devoted to sparring.
Belt tests were performed on the 5th day of the camp. Last day of the camp provided some free time, and all fighters had a possibility to rest and restore strength in thermal springs “Miskolc-Tapolce”.
We are grateful to Shihan Jozef Borza for invitation and warm reception of sportsmen from our federation!
