Our sportsmen were exposed to tough competition among well-trained fighters, but they managed to get to prize-winning places. Shevchuk Vasyl won 1stplace in kata among adults. He also won silver medal in kumite among men (weight category below 70 kg). Young Ukrainian sportsmen have shown good results, too.

  • Dobrovolskiy Danylo – 1st place in kumite;
  • Nesterenko Anastasia – 1st place in kumite;
  • Shvydkiy Dmytro – 2nd place in kumite;

Yaroslav Goncharenko from Dnipropetovsk (weight category below 70 kg) and Dovhay David from Lutsk (16-17 y.o., below 70 kg) fought well, but their Hungarian opponents have shown more experience.

Thanks to good organization the competition was held without delays. All fighters were well-trained and full of sporting blood, so each fight was quite a show. But under the guidance of Shihan Volynets Dmytro and sensei Gavryliuk Andriy Ukrainian team was well-prepared and our fighters were adequate to the competition of such a high level.
