Participation in Open Championship of Grodno region

10th Open Kyokushin-kan karate championship of Grodno region among children, youth, juveniles, men and veterans was held in town Grodno (Republic of Belarus) on November 28th2015. More than 300 sportsmen from Germany,Russian Federation, Ukraine and all regions of Belarus competed in the tournament.Ukrainewas represented by 5 fighters from Volyn regional organization of Ukrainian Kyokushinkaikan Karate Federation: Toptikov Maxim, Gorishnyy Oleksandr, Stoliarchuk Mykola, Stoliarchuk Taras and Kulay Dmytro.

There were three tatamis, and each category had about 16 sportsmen. In spite of fierce competition Toptikov Maxim won 3rdplace in his category (8-9 years old children, weight below 25 kg). Gorishnyy Oleksandr was injured in the first fight, but he managed to get 4th place among 8-9 years old children, weight below 40 kg. fights with stronger opponents prevented Stoliarchuk Mykola and Stoliarchuk Taras to get prizes. Kulay Dmytro won a silver medal (men below 70 kg). In the final our sportsman fought with more experienced fighter from Grodno Marmysh Andrey,
