2014 training camp was successfully held on the lake Pisochne (Turiysk district of Volyn region). The camp continued from June 29th till July 6th, and it hosted 75 sportsmen and trainers from 6 regions of Ukraine: Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Zhitomyr, Khmelnytskiy and Volyn. Main trainer of the training camp was Branch Chief of Ukrainian IKO Matsushima organization Dmytro Volynets (5th dan, Lutsk).
Our greetings to all fighters and trainers, who managed to pass their tests successfully.
Sensei test: Golovin Dmytro (3rd dan, Dnipropetrovsk) and Gavrylyuk Andriy (3rd dan, Brovary).
Other tests: Pryhodko Maria (2nd dan, Lutsk), Shevchuk Vitaliy (2nd dan, Lutsk), Leshchuk Olga (2nd dan, Lutsk), Mavrodiy Arthur (2nd dan, Donetsk), Zvonyk Dan (2nd dan, Donetsk), and Konosh Evhen (1st dan, Brovary).
We wish rest of the fighters to train hard during next year to master their technique and skills. So, they’ll manage to pass the test next year!
Free time activities of the camp included playing soccer and volleyball, fishing and catching of cancers, gathering of berries and mushrooms, and frying of shish keban. After the tests Russian bath with bunches of green birch twigs was organized on the beach near the lake. It was great surprise and exciting experience for all the participants. Even some of the adults had not had such experience in their life, so they enjoyed it very much.
We can say that the camp was successful, and all the participants returned home with exciting memories. We also invite everybody to participate in the next summer camp!
