Our greetings to all members of Ukrainian Kyokushinkai Karate Federation! Ukrainian Ministry of Sports has added Kyokushinkai Karate to the list of kinds of sports that are officially recognized in Ukraine.

About recognition of specific kinds of sports

in Ukraine, and inserting amendments

to Order of State Committee of Youth and Sports Affairs

N690 from 14.02.2012

On the basis of the following documents: Law of Ukraine “About physical culture and sport”, Statute of State Committee of Youth and Sports Affairs, validated by the Order of President of Ukraine N636 from 31.05.2011, Order of State Committee of Youth and Sports Affairs “About procedure of recognition of kinds of sports and their listing in the Register of kinds of sports that are recognized in Ukraine, and about maintaining of this register”, registered in Department of Justice of Ukraine on 15.12.2011 (registration N1440/20178),

on the basis of decision of the Recognition of kinds of sports Committee  from 03.01.2013, protocol N1,

I HEREBY ORDER

1. To recognize the following kinds of sports in Ukraine:

“Roller skates sport

Kyokushinkai Karate

Kick-boxing VTKA”

2. To insert amendments in the Register of recognized in Ukraine kinds of sports, validated by the order N690 from 14.02.2012, in the Part II “Non-Olympic kinds of sport”:

“II.112.  Roller skates sport

II.113. Kyokushinkai Karate

II.114 Kick-boxing VTKA”

3. To order to publish this order on web site of State Committee of Youth and Sports Affairs (by means of department of high results of sports together with public relations department).

4. Control over implementation of this order I leave to myself.

Ukrainian Kyokushinkai Karate Tournament Among Children, Juveniles And Youth

Ukrainian Kyokushinkai Karate Tournament in Kumite Among Children, Juveniles And Youth will be held in Lutsk on March, 2013. The event will take place in the sports complex Adrenalin City (Karbysheva street, 1). Main judge of the competition – sensei Dmytro Volynets.

Each team can have not more than 2 participants in each weight category, and only 1 judge. Deadline for applications – March, 15^th. Draw ceremony will be conducted 2 days before the competition. All participants, who do not correspond to the weight category that is indicated in their in applications, will be excluded. Do not postpone accommodation applications, as number of rooms in the hotel is limited.
