4th European Summer Kyokushin Karate Training Camp

4thIKO Matsushima European summer Kyokushin Karate training camp was held from 03rdto 08th of August in town Miskolc (Hungary). Main instructor of the camp was Shihan Jozef Borza (6 dan, Hungary). More than 100 sportsmen from several countries were mastering their skills during intensive trainings. Level of the camp was very high – most of the participants had black or brown belts. Ukrainian Federation was represented by 5 sportsmen.

Hungarian training camps are distinguished by intensive trainings and hard physical activity. There were three trainings every day and a cross-country race, starting at midnight.

Accommodation was quite comfortable this time. In each room there were 4 sportsmen. There was a bath, WC, TV and refrigerator in each room, but food could be better.

At the end of the camp there were usual tests. Many sportsmen passed tests up to the 4thdan.

After the camp was over there was an excursion to wine cellars, everybody could test wines there. Participants of the camp also visited local thermal baths resort. There they had a good time and could restore their strength.
