Rivne region Open Kyokushin Karate Championship in kumite was held on May 24th2009 in town Korets of Rivne region. Sportsmen from Volyn, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskiy, Lviv and Rivne regions participated in the competition. The following results were for towns: Korets – 1st place, Lutsk – 2ndplace, Novograd-Volynskiy – 3rd place.
