On May 22nd2009 two members of our Federation became international-class master of sports in karate. The decree N1707 concerning granting of this high rank to Korol Tamara and Zhegar Svitlana was signed by Deputy Minister of Ukrainian Ministry of family, youth and sports.
Having won silver medals for 2nd place at the 3rd Open IKO Matsushima Kyokushin Karate Championship girls deserved such a high rank. Tamara fought in the weight category above 65 kg, Svitlana – in the weight category below 60 kg.
